Ben Chasny formed the California-based group Six Organs of Admittance in 1998. The band produced its first full-length eponymous album the same year. The Manifestation EP and the Dust and Chimes LP appeared two years later. In 2003 Ben Chasny entered the Comets ON Fire band. Two years later he recorded and released the Drag City LP.
