Born in 1948 in Phoenix Stevie Nicks (real name: Stephanie Lynn Nicks) began her career in the band called the Changing Times when she was a teenager. In 1968 she founded the Fritz group with Calvin Roper, Lindsey Buckingham, and Calvin Roper. The band performed several years and split in 1971. Two years later Nicks and Buckingham released the Buckingham-Nicks LP.
