The punk band Spoon appeared in 1994 in Austin, TX. Drummer Jim Eno and singer/guitarist Britt Daniel formed the group. In 1996, they released their first album entitled Telephono. The Soft Effects EP appeared the following year. A Series of Sneaks LP was issued on Elektra Records in 1998. In the 2000's Spoon produced such LPs as Girls Can Tell (2001), Kill the Moonlight (2002), Gimme Fiction (2005).
