Van Zant was formed for the first time in 1985, but it did not exit for a long time issuing only their eponymous album. But in 1998 the band reunited to create on due to such musicians as Johnny and Donnie. Brother to Brother followed after the reforming and was issued on CMC International. The recording was a success and received much praise.
