The Canadian metal band called Triumph was founded in Toronto in the middle 70's. The group's original lineup consisted of Rik Emmett (vocals and guitar), Mike Levine (bass and keyboards), and Gil Moore (vocals and drums). The trio signed its debut professional contract with Attic Records, which released Triumph's first full-length eponymous album in 1976.
