Don Ricketts (bass), Dewey Bond (drums), and John Mascaro (guitar) founded the Mods group in the middle 60's. In 1965 the band enterd to the Miami's Dukoff Studios to issue its debut single entitled "Don't Be Late." After that the Mods signed the record contract with the Columbia label, the group opened for such bands as Paul Revere & the Raiders and Byrds.
