Vocalist Robert Plant started the Honeydrippers band in the early 80's. He recruited Jim Hickman (bass), Andy Sylvester and Robbie Blunt (guitars), Kevin O'Neil (drums), and Ricky Cool (harmonica and saxophon). The group's debut eponymous EP appeared in 1984. "Sea of Love" sent the record to the top of charts. The EP was followed by "Rockin' at Midnight."
