The TV on the Radio group was founded in Brooklyn by singer Tunde Adebimpe and multi-instrumentalist David Andrew Sitek. The duo's EP Young Liars was issued on the Touch and Go label in 2003. At that time the lineup consisted Adebimpe, Sitek, Kyp Malone, Nick Zinner, and Brian Chase. The full-length Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes appeared in 2004.
