The British group Slade (former title: In-Be-Tweens) was founded in 1966 by Noddy Holder (vocals and guitar), Don Powell (drums), Dave Hill (guitar), and Jimmy Lea (bass). In the late 60's theband released such albums like Beginnings (1969) and Play It Loud (1970).
