The Memphis-based metal band Saliva appeared in 1996 and consisted Dave Novotny (bass), Josey Scott (vocals), Paul Crosby (drums), Wayne Swinny and Chris Dibaldo (both: guitar). They produced their first self-titled album in 1997. Four years later the Universal label released the Every Six Seconds LP.
