Born in South Wales in 1945 Roger Glover began his musical career playing bass in his father's pub. In the early 60's he founded the Madisons rock band, and after its disbanding in 1969 Glover and Gillan formed Deep Purple. As solo artist Glover released such albums as Elements (1978), The Mask (1983), and Snapshot (2002).
