Like the band's name implies, Gregorian perform pop and rock songs that are inspired by Gregorian chants. Like Enigma, for example, the influence is clearly traditional (in this case Gregorian) but the outcome is pop music, at times better and at times not as well received. The 12-vocalist act is quite impressive, though, by all standards, which justifies their live DVD release in 2005, called The Masterpieces.
