From a member of a breakdance group, a graffiti artists career and then a few small-time local collaborations with various European musicians, Goldie moved on in 1995 to release a highly successful drum and bass album, and then by 1998 release his second LP, this time with contributions by David Bowie, Noel Gallagher and KRS-One. A high-profile relationship with Bjork further promoted Goldie as one of the most respected and popular electronic artist of the late 90s.
