When Wham! Fell apart in 1985, George Michael stepped comfortable into the shoes of a solo artist, and has had a long and fruitful career, spanning to this day. The other member of Wham! Andrew Ridgeley, released one album port-Wham! which sold poorly. He has since dropped out of the public eye.
