When it was time to release his first single after the success of his first, Vanilla Ice released "To the Extreme" which shot straight to the top and spent 16 weeks at the top. Vanilla Ice also began filming a feature film called "Cool as Ice" but by them Ice was no longer a star. The movie;s sales were less than expected.
