About The Verve
The Verve issued its first full-length album, A Storm in Heaven, in 1993. Two years later the band released its second LP entitled A Northern Soul. The Urban Hymns LP followed in 1997. The "The Drugs Don't Work" and "Bittersweet Symphony" tracks sent the album to the top of charts. Such singles as "Sonnet" and "Lucky Man." followed it The band split in 1998.
