About The Kinks
After long searched finally the Kinks signed a recording contract with Pye records and the released their debut, a cover of Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally." Before the single was released the Ravens changed their name to the Links, the name that they were to stay with. The single, and their second one, would fail to chart, and it would not be until their third single that people would begin to take notice of them.
