Tanita Tikaram is famous mostly for her debut album release, in 1988. The album, titled Ancient Heart, included two hit singles Twist in My Sobriety and Good Tradition, which gained Tanita Tikaram global recognition and fame as a husky-voiced, sexy and intimate singer. Later attempts, of which there were several, failed to repeat the initial success.
