T. Rex was one of the most popular folk-rock bands of that time; ad also specialized in glam rock. The band became so popular due to guitarist/vocalist Marc Bolan (his real name is Marc Feld). Actually the music of the band contained elements of rock & roll; on the whole their style presented a mixture of different ones-that's the secret of their success.
