The band Sugar Ray formed in the early 90s in Orange County, California. Only with the release of Fly, their #1 single in 1997, which presented the playful side of the funk band, did Sugar Ray receive national recognition and top sales. Sugar Ray stayed in the music world's focus for the following years, not only due to its following hit songs (Every Morning, someday and others), but also due to their good looks and teen-appeal.
