Grammy Award winning rock band Steely Dan have operated mainly in the 70s and then again in the 90s, continuing to this day, with a period of solo projects by Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, its two main artists. Steely Dan have been a studio band for much of the time, not touring but remaining in doors to record more of their complex jazz influenced rock music.
