About Social Distortion
Social Distortion was founded in 1978 and has since, through lineup changes, a couple of breakups and even the death of one of its members, served as a leading voice in the Los Angeles punk scene. Social Distortion is also famous for its cover versions of songs, including the cover to Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire, recorded on the band's self titled album from 1990.
