About Simply Red
Simply Red released their debut album called Picture Book in 1985, but before that they had signed a contract with Elektra Records. Many of the songs from that album became real hits, and could be heard on the top of many local charts, for example a Top 40. And one of the songs from that album-"Holding Back the Years" was considered to be platinum.
