About Simon and Garfunkel
Simon and Garfunkel met as kids in grade school and years later would be a duo known across the country for their The Sound of Silence song, which they recorded in 1965 and brought them fame, more so that their previous formation as Tom and Jerry, more so than any other folk rock duo ever. Later songs - Bridge Over Troubled Water and Mrs. Robinson, which appeared on the movie The Graduate – helped Simon and Garfunkel further their popularity and firm hold of the music world of the day.
