About Pantera
Pantera's biggest fans are perhaps Beavis and Butthead, the MTV cartoon heroes from the 90s. The band has critics, though, too. Dave Mustaine of Megadeth said once of the Pantera guuitar style and sound that it was, in essence, copied from himself, playing with Megadeth and Metallica's James Hetfield. But Pantera has also taken the main stage at Ozzfests in 1997 and 2000, proving their wide acceptance among metal fans.
