About Pantera
The story behing Pantera and largely also the story of their aftermath; guitarist Dimebag Darrell's aftermath. An unfriendly breakup in 2003, after Phil Anslemo's departure, left the band members to play with other bands. Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell formed another heavy metal group, Damageplan, soon after the breakup was official, and it was during concert that the former Pantera guitarist was shot by a crazed fan. Three other people were killed by the fan.
