About P.O.D.
Multi-platinum selling rapcore band P.O.D. have a strong following, which they refer to as "Warriors," but enjoy the appreciation of mainstream critics and institutions, including the Grammys, for which the band was nominated several times. Although its name, P.O.D., refers to the death of Jesus Christ (who died for our sins), their music crosses Christian rock boundaries and includes southern Californian reggae influences.
