About Orange Juice
Orange Juice formed in 1979 and tried to fuse the post-punk guitars of the days with the separate disco and funk rhythms that were played in entirely different genres. Vocally and lyrically, Orange Juice tried to direct their style to the middle, with the lead singer adopting a camp vocal style. Their love of optimism, literate and all, translated to some fans' appreciation of the band.
