About Moby Grape
San Francisco's folk-rock band Moby Grape are often described as being versatile. All the elements that they incorporate in their music on the various recordings have at one point in time, on their 1967 debut LP release, merged together to form a sound that is simultaneously coherent and versatile. Moby Grape, though not lasting for long as an active band, are regarded as one of the greater bands to emerge from San Francisco and the 60s.
