About Minutemen
The Minutemen were a punk band in the early 80s, active around California. The Sex Pistols, Black Flag and even Creedence Clearwater Revival are among the influences noticed in their music, which nonetheless was unique in speed, intensity and length alike. With regard to the latter element, most of the early songs by the Minutemen were no longer than a minute.
