About Midnight Oil
Midnight Oil is at times regarded not only as one of the greatest successes in Australian music, but also as a truly Australian sound. These are some of the better words used to describe the band. Other times, Midnight Oil were said to be narrow and xenophobic in their music, criticism they did not live well with and had their manager at the time (in the 80s) ban such critics from Oils shows.
