Madvillain is made of two musicians and producers, MF Doom, a New york-based rapper and MC who often appears behind a mask, and Madlib, a west-caost, California-based hip hop producer who ahs worked on many projects, among them with De La Soul and Talib Kweli. Madvillain has released a single albums so far, Madvillainy in 2004.
