Meanwhile it excelled in Europe and elsewhere around the world, with some classic Lenny Kravitz tracks as the title song and I Built This Garden For Us. The reasons for the mixed reviews were that Lenny Kravitz was viewed either a truly funk meets rock artist or simply overwhelmed by his influences from the 60s. Ten years would pass and Kravitz would win four straight Grammy Awards for his music.
