About Kings Of Leon
Three boys, sons of an evangelist father, and their cousin, all Followill family members, grew up listening to the Rolling Stones and Neil Young. Thus the music they later recorded under the name of Kings of Leon was not strictly country – although they were now based in Nashville and were traditional American in spirit, but a more diversely influenced style, touching on indie and blues and finding a common language with many Europeans who became Kings of Leon fans.
