About John Lennon
The legacy of John Lennon is hard to grasp. Certainly the beautiful songs that he wrote, either during the Beatles and afterward during his solo career, will never age or be obsolete. His most famous song, "Imagine" acquired an almost unendurable sadness; it is hard, today, to think of the song as the anthem of hope that its hippy composer to clearly intended it to be.
