About Ian Dury
Ian Dury died of colon cancer in 2000. By this time he has been honored, by Q Magazine and other institutions, for his unique body of work, first with Kilburn & The Highroads and then later with The Blockheads. Ian Dury has never had it easy in his lifetime, handicapped from the age of seven after being hi with polio, but could still sing about Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, as his famous single from 1977 is called.
