Alternative rock band Pixies leader, then successful and no less experimental solo artist, Frank Black has been around the US music scene since the mid 80s. The howling voice and weird-surreal lyrics of Frank Black when still with the Pixies have remained much the same over the years, with Black continuing to explore new themes, although never with the success he enjoyed when still with that mythological band.
