About Evanescence
Goth inspired band Evanescence easily made it to the top of the charts with their Wind-Up Entertainment debut album, Fallen. Their music is kind of Linkin Park-meets-Tori Amos sound backed by chugging guitars, and makes for a very interesting sound that is almost indie, but appeals to mainstream audiences. Goth for the Britney crowd.
