The Eagles developed their strong and smooth rock sound over the 70s, with album after album reaching higher on the charts, until they reached number one and couldn't reach any higher. By the Eagles' fourth album, One of These Nights, they scored their first #1 hit with One of These Nights and a Grammy Award with Lyin' Eyes. This was 1975 and the future was as bright as ever for the California band.
