About Dire Straits
Active between 1977 and 1995, Dire Straits are signed on some of the greatest rock and roll songs of the 20th century, with songs such as Money for Nothing, So Far Away and Brothers in Arms. Dire Straits have also recorded a concept album of sorts, Brothers in Arms, which was the first album ever recorded that was digitally mastered and designed for the CD market.
