Although Derek & the Dominos' double album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs" album was successful in the U.S., where 'Bell Bottom Blues' and the title song charted as singles in abbreviated versions, but it did not chart in the U.K. in May 197, Derek and the Dominoes reconvened to record another album, but they split up before they could make any headway on it.
