Soon after Neil Young joined the band, and made it into its name - Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, the four began touring the US. Their second date was at Woodstock, the famous countercultural hippie festival, and their Woodstock appearance on the third day would be remembered as one of the perfect moments in music history, with separate acoustic and electric sets, and the famous Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young anti-war song Wooden Ships.
