If Eric Clapton were not able to convince Ginger Baker to put aside his quarrels with Jack Bruce, Cream might never have come to life. Instead, as history has it, we have in Cream one of the most influential music groups of all time, a band signed on some of rock and roll's greatest hits of all time, and some musicians that would continue on, after Cream would disband in 1968, to make rock music what it is today.
