About Cream
With very little humility, the trio that made up Cream were already well aware that they were the cream of the crop among the jazz, blues and rock music scenes in England. And so the name Cream was aptly chosen for them. Another musician that could have easily fit in with this classification was Jimi Hendrix, with whom Cream have actually played onstage at one time.
