About Cowboy Junkies
Three siblings from the Timmins family in Toronto joined with Alan Anton in 1985 to create the Cowboy Junkies. They have seen only one mainstream success, with their single Sweet Jane, a cover of a Velvet underground song that would also make it to the Natural Born Killers soundtrack. The Cowboy Junkies continue to enjoy a dedicated following, their albums released on independent record labels on nearly a once a year basis.
