About Blumfeld
The indie rock group from Hamburg, Blumfeld, has been compared with American indie group Pavement. The two bands did tour together in the past. Blumfeld, however, sings in German, not English, and their lyrics, written by singer Jochen Distelmeyer, are often more pessimistic than those of Pavement's. The lo-fi, punk-mixed-with-pop tunes are still a bond that ties the two groups together.
