Bauhaus were clever and dramatic act, a group that played gothic music and experimented with minimalism. Bauhaus shows were a hit among their cult following, with lead vocalist Peter Murphy rising from coffins on-stage, driving a hearse called the Bauhearse and so on. In their theatrics and their music they have proven influential on an entire generation of musicians to follow, from dEUS to Interpol and more.
