About Abigor
Abigor is a band that was formed in 1993 by two members Peter Kubik (guitar, bass) and Thomas Tannenberger (guitar, drums). Abigor's musical style is often characterized as black metal. There is an opinion that the band was inspired by John Tolkien's work. The album cover on "Orkblut - The Retaliation" is a collage of 2 paintings initially created by Lord of the Rings fantasy artist Ian Miller.
