About 38 Special
38 Special is a great representative of a Southern rock band. They band was formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1975 and its sound is a mixture of country blues-rock and hard rock. Over the years 38 Special managed to release a few hits such as the 1981's Wild-Eyed Southern Boys and the 1982's Special Forces. Band continued to play actively until 1991.
